In these troubled economic times, smart spending means not falling into the trap of buying something you never intended to buy and have no real use for, or spending more because of irrational reasons. And this is certainly easier to avow to than done. Understanding the way you brain responds to shopping and how marketers make use of this phenomenon can help you avoid overspending.
